Serviced, early 60's Seiko Champion Alpinist, 17 jewels hand winding watch in fantastic condition.
One of the most desirable vintage Seikos with one of the coolest dials Seiko has ever made.
Vintage Alpinist usually come with damaged or stain dials. This one is in unbelievably good condition. The nicest one I've seen. Original lume on the dial and most likely on hands too.
Case is sharp and in good condition.
Caseback is in great condition.
Early Alpinist had the same Seikosha caliber that was used in luxury Laurel brand. It's much nicer movement than 850 used in later Alpinists. Built better, with balance bridge rather than cock. It is clean, shiny and healthy and runs well.
