DEADSTOCK 1963 Seiko Liner J15007

Serviced, Deadstock, beautiful 1963 Seiko Liner Gold plated maual winding watch with original leather strap and a price tag. 

 Liner was Seiko Suwa factory's brand of luxury dress watches, placed just below Grand Seiko. Caliber 3140 is closely related to cal 3180 used in first Grand Seiko. 

Even though the watch is deadstock that has never been used, servicing the movement was necessary as the oils have all dried out. 

Gold plated case is well preserved. Gold Filled caseback still has protective film on it. 

Dial has developed very pleasing warm patina from sitting in the display window for, probably, very long time. 

You can actual see the original tone where the hands provided the shade from the sun. 

Original leather strap is in surprisingly good condition considering it is 61 years old. 

Movement is clean and beautiful and runs very well.
