Serviced, rare late 1940's Seiko manual winding watch in beautiful condition.
Not much information is available about Seiko watches from this period, but judging from the build quality, this was most likely a high end offering.
Stainless steel case with a screwdown caseback is in very good condition. Edges are sharp, sides are brushed, lugs are drilled.
Dial is very beautiful with a mix of different textures, applied indexes, numerals and S logo, and naturally developed patina.
Movement was well maintained. It's clean and shiny, but due to its age there is a wear on pivots and pivot holes, that affect it's accuracy. Expect daily varience to be within a minute or less per day.
