1985 Seiko Quartz Professional 200m Diver 6458-6020

Rare, JDM 1985 Seiko Quartz Professional 200m Diver in very good condition. 

This model had a very short production run, 1984 and 1985, and it was for Japanese domestic market only.

Caliber 6458 series is highly collectable and known for its superior quality, finishing and small production and this model is at the top. More common 6458 models had 150m rating written on dial. This model has 200mm rating. 

Case is in excellent condition with only few minor scratches. Caseback is in even better condition with raised silver wave in the middle.

Dial and hands are flawless. 

Bezel is bidirectional with a strong click. It's in excellent condition. Bezel insert has some scratches. Lume dot at 60 is still strong. 

Original hardlex crystal has a shallow scratch at 12 o'clock but you need to look for it as it's not very noticeable. Usually, I replace scratched crystal, but in this case I didn't think it was necessary as it looks great, and it is better to preserve its original state. 

Original rubber strap is in good condition. It has lost a hoop used for tucking the end in. I put one that I had but it's little bigger. You can find rubber hoops on ebay or aliexpress for 2 dollars or less. 

Watch has been disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. 

New battery and packing. 

It runs very well.
