1982 Citizen Leopard 2730-271351

 Very rare, 1982 Citizen Leopard, high end quartz watch in good condition. 

Featuring caliber 2730. This was Citizen's second thermocompensated movement with high accuracy of 10 secs per year, same as Seiko's twin quartz calibers used in Grand Quartz models. 

Beautiful two tone grey dial with vertical brushed texture is flawless. 

Case very well designed and built, with more complexity than Seiko COUNTERPARTS. It's in very good condition. Crown is protected and the caseback is closed with 4 screws. 

Unlike vintage Seikos, there is a lot less info on vintage Citizens. I'm not sure about the case material. It says BASE METAL SSSA. Base metal usually means that it contains a precious metal like gold or silver. SSSA case code stands for special stainless steel with hard alloy bezel. 

Stainless steel bracelet is nicely integrated. It has double locking clasp. Full size, adjustable, good for up to 20cm wrist. 

Unfortunately, crystal has couple of small scratches, luckily not too noticeable. 

Disassembled and cleaned. 

New battery and rubber gaskets.
