Serviced, Rare 1979 Seiko Grand Quartz, high end, high accuracy twin quartz watch.
Completely disassembled and cleaned, including the movement.
Original Sapphire crystal is intact, no chips nor scratches.
Blue dial is clean and beautiful with small blemishes above 12 and 6 o'clock. Not noticeable.
Stainless steel case has some pitting from corrosion on the outer edge of the bezel.
Main problem with the watch is its original stainless steel bracelet. Visually, it looks good, with solid steel links tightly connected. However, I was not able to remove it from the case and I could only push out one pin out of the links. They seem to be completely seized due to corrosion. It's sized to 17cm wrist.
ONLY BUY IF YOUR WRIST IS BETWEEN 16 AND 17CM OR YOU FEEL CONFIDENT THAT YOU CAN SIZE IT.
New battery and rubber gaskets on the crown and battery hatch.
