1979 Seiko Grand Quartz 9940-7010

 Serviced, Rare 1979 Seiko Grand Quartz high end twin quartz with beautiful very, very black onyx stone dial. 

Case has a very unique and beautiful texture mixed with high polished sides. It's mostly in good condition, but the bottom of the bezel is little chewed up. However, nicks blend in with the texture, so it's not too obvious. 

Original Sapphire crystal surprisingly, has 2 scratches that are visible on certain angles. 

Seamlessly integrated, also textured stainless steel bracelet is in good condition. 

Twin quartz caliber 9943 works as expected with excellent accuracy.

Disassembled and cleaned, including the movement. 

New battery and rubber gaskets on the crown and battery hatch.
