1978 Seiko Quartz Superior 9983-8000

1978 Seiko Superior, top of the line Seiko with superior accuracy twin quartz caliber 9983.

The most accurate watch Seiko made in 70's. 
This watch was priced at 230,000 yen in 1979.

Original stainless steel bracelet XBB190. Full size and easily adjustable. There is a slight kink on the small links on the lower half mid point. See pictures. Nothing seems to be broken and the link is quite strong. I don't think it's anything to worry about, just that it's not perfect. 

Original, sapphire clearlex crystal. Scratch and chip free.

New battery and packing.
Cleaned and lubricated.

Beautiful dial is clean and flawless with all minute markers applied.

Case is in very good condition with only a few small scratches.

Watch looks and works great.
