1978 Seiko Grand Quartz HGP 9943-8020

Stunningly beautiful, as good as it gets, 1978 Seiko Grand Quartz high end quartz watch in mint condition. 

This was the most expensive Grand Quartz made. At 150,000 yen in 1979, only Superior was more expensive. 

HGP, hard gold plated case. 

Sapphire crystal. 

Full size, easily adjustable original gold plated bracelet in excellent condition. 

Expensive, gold dust looking dial is flawless.

There are many HSS models out there but HGP seems to be much harder to find, especially in exceptionally good condition such as this one.

Completely disassembled, including the movement and cleaned. 

New battery and rubber gaskets on the crown, caseback and battery hatch.
