1978 Seiko Grand Quartz HGP 9943-8020

1978 Seiko Grand Quartz high end quartz watch in fair condition. 

HGP, hard gold plated case is sharp with no noticeable scratches, however sweat and dirt based grime has bitten into the gold. You can see many black dots all over. It's more pronounced in pictures than in person. The watch still looks impressive and beautiful, but flawed. 

Sapphire crystal is scratch free. 

Full size, easily adjustable original stainless bracelet is in very good condition. 

Expensive looking dial is flawless.

There are many HSS models out there but HGP seems to be much harder to find, especially in good condition such as this one.

Disassembled and cleaned. 

New battery and rubber gaskets on the crown, caseback and battery hatch.
