1978 Seiko 2nd Diver "Captain Willard" 6105-8110

Overhauled, 1978 Seiko Second Diver "Captain Willard". 

Historic piece in good condition. 

There are nicks and some scratches on the case. 

New aftermarket sapphire crystal, new aftermarket rubber strap and new set of rubber gaskets. Everything else is original. 

Lume on the dial is original and it still shows some signs of life. Original hands are relumed to match the original color. 

Movement is clean and runs well. Caliber 6105 is notorious for low amplitude and 220 is considered good. 

Bidirectional bezel turns firmly with very satisfying click. There are scratches on bezel insert. 

Watch hasn't been tested for water resistance as I don't have the equipment. It's nearly 50 years old and it probably shouldn't be used for diving.
