1977 Seiko Superior 4883-8100

1977 Seiko Superior quartz watch in good condition.

A model launched in 1976, which set a new standard of precision at ±1 second a month. The battery life was extended to more than two years. The oscillating frequency was 32,768 Hz.

This was the most expensive Seiko in 1977. It cost 180,000 yen. By comparison, most expensive Grand Quartz was only 100,000.

Disassembled and thoroughly cleaned.

There are few knicks on the bezel and some small scratches here and there but overall, the case is in very good condition condition. Sharp and edgy with combination of brushed and polished surfaces.

Beautiful 3D is clean but there are few small dark spots around the edge between 4 and 7 o'clock. 

Original Sapphire crystal is scratch free. 

Original stainless steel bracelet has had some repairs and it's in good working condition.
