1977 Seiko Superior 4883-8001

 Serviced, 1977 Seiko Superior high end, high accuracy, gold plated quartz watch.

This was the most expensive and the most accurate Seiko in 1977 with a price tag of 180,000 yen and accuracy of +-1 sec/month. 

Gold plated case is good condition. There are some small scratches and nicks, but nothing very noticeable with naked eye. 

Original sapphire crystal is intact. 

Beautiful, textured dial. Applied hour and minute markers are topped with onyx stone. 

On a new Seiko cowhide leather strap. 

 Fully disassembled and cleaned. 

New battery and rubber gaskets.
