1976 Seiko "Turtle" 3rd Diver 6306-7001

 Serviced, 1976 JDM Seiko "Turtle" 3rd Diver, automatic watch in fantastic condition. 

All original except for a new crystal. Original hardlex was replaced with a beautiful sapphire glass which greatly improves visual appeal. 

Case is untouched, with no noticeable scratches. 

Dial and hands are in beautiful condition. 

Caseback is also very well preserved with deep engraving and frosting above the wave. 

Bezel and insert, also beautiful. Bi-directional bezel turns with right amount of resistence and produces very satisfying click. 

Screw down crown works as it should. 

Original Seiko rubber strap has been deep cleaned. It's soft and comfortable. 

Caliber 6306 was used in JDM models only and it is of higher quality than 6309, which was made for outside market. It is jeweled properly for automatic with 21 jewels as opposed to insufficient 17 jewels found in 6309.It also has hacking (6309 doesn't), quick set day / date. 

Movement is clean, healthy and runs very well with good accuracy. 

Gaskets have been replaced and the case integrity is intact, but as it is nearly 50 years old, it is better to keep it away water immersion.
