Serviced 1975 Seiko Superior quartz watch in excellent condition.
Introduced to 1975 this model stands out as a testament to Seiko's commitment to precision and Innovation during the early quartz era.
Equipped with a caliber 4883A, the watch was meticulously regulated to achieve an impressive accuracy of +-1 second per month, a remarkable feat for its time. Unlike later models, it did not feature thermocompensation but relied on high quality quartz crystals and precise regulation to maintain its accuracy.
The moment included innovating hacking function, allowing the seconds hand to reset to the nearest 10-second marker when the crown was pulled out.
The case is made of hardened stainless steel and it's in very good condition. Super sharp and edgy, with no noticeable scratches, but there are a few small nicks on the edge of the bezel.
Beautiful 3D dial is adorned with hour markers topped with onyx. Very detailed, delicate and expensive looking. It is clean and nearly flawless, with a dark spot above 8 o'clock marker being the only blemish.
Original Sapphire crystal is scratch free.
Original stainless steel bracelet is easily adjustable, full size. It's in excellent condition, attached tightly to the case with no loose or stretched out links.
