Serviced, 1975 JDM Seiko 5 Sports SpeedTimer "Kakume", 23 jewels automatic chronograph with manual winding in great condition.
Kukume translates from Japanese as square eyes, because of the pair or square sub registers that look at you from this impressive chronograph.
Dial looks flawless to naked eye, but some age related, small blemishes can be seen in pictures.
Hands are all original and in excellent condition. Minute and hour hands are freshly relumed and matching original color perfectly.
Case has few small scratches, but overall condition is very good, original with strong, lines and smooth curves. No pitting or corrosion anywhere.
Original bezel insert is in great condition with a few small blemishes.
Original stainless steel bracelet is in great condition. It fits 17.5cm wrist comfortably.
Movement has been serviced and it runs with strong amplitude and good accuracy. All buttons and crown operations work as they should. Snapy and precise. Unlike 6139, caliber 6138 has manual winding and minute and hour recorder hands. Weekdays are in English and Kanji.
New crystal and new rubber gaskets on the crown, pushers and caseback.
