1974 Seiko Vanac KS 5626-7250

Overhauled, very rare purple dialed 1974 Seiko Vanac KS, 25 jewels automatic watch in "what happened to the beautiful dial" condition. 

This, once absolutely stunning purple dial, still has some sparkle and beauty left. Unfortunately, there are few scratches on the left half that go down to the base metal. Also, there are numerous dark dots. 

The rest is not so bad. 

NOS Genuine Seiko faceted crystal. 

Stainless steel case has been restored to its original brushed finish and polished bezel.

Original, well integrated, high quality stainless steel bracelet is in good condition. However, one of the folding parts that holds and locks clasp, broke. I replaced it with Seiko clasp assembly from other watch. Locking design is different, so I couldn't use original Vanac clasp. I will include original clasp in the package. 

Movement is in excellent condition and it runs very well after getting serviced. 

Weak point of caliber 56, date quick set plastic start, has been replaced with metal one. 

It is still a good practice to avoid changing calendar between 20:00 and 04:00. 

Everything works as it should and it runs with great accuracy. 

It also has a cool serial number.
