1974 Seiko Vanac KS 5626-7240
1974 Seiko Vanac KS 5626-7240
Spectacular, one of the rarest, red dial Seiko Vanac KS from April 1974.
There are many blue, green and brown Vanacs, but red one is by far the hardest to find, especially this boldly designed reference.
The case is very unique and unusual. It's in original state, untouched and sharp, and there are some small nicks and very small scratches, not noticeable with naked eye.
NOS Genuine Seiko faceted crystal works so well with the case shape.
Original, high grade stainless steel bracelet is in excellent condition. It comfortably fits 18.5cm wrist.
The watch looks and feels great on the wrist.
Completely disassembled, case and the movement, and cleaned.
Weak point of caliber 56, date quick set plastic start, has been replaced with metal one.
It is still a good practice to avoid changing calendar between 20:00 and 04:00.
Everything works as it should and it runs with great accuracy.
