1974 Citizen 28800 Leopard 4-771125

Serviced 1974 Citizen Leopard high beat 28800 automatic watch in very good condition. 

Leopard brand with high quality, high beat automatic movements represented the peak of Citizen mechanical watchmaking, before they went all in on quartz and downgraded their mechanicals to a lone caliber 8200. 

These watch were direct competition to King Seiko and were in every way just as good as Seiko. 

Under the NOS Genuine Citizen faceted crystal sits a clean, subtle beauty of a dial with pearl like design. The only flaw is a small scratch near the center. 

Stainless steel case is in good condition with few small nicks. 

Original bracelet is in good condition and it will fit 17.5cm wrist. 

Caliber 7710 ticks at 8 beats per. It has manual winding, hacking and unusual day/date quick set. To change date, hold the watch with 12 o'clock pointing up and push the crown. For weekday, turn it upside down with 6 o'clock pointing up and push the crown.
