Serviced, absolutely stunning 1973 Seiko GS hi beat automatic in very nice condition on a new Seiko crocodile leather strap.
This is one of the less common 56GS models and not often encountered, making it one the most desirable GS with this caliber.
White textured dial nicknamed the “Nashi‑Ji” or “sand”, has a finely grained matte finish and pairs with slender black hands, creating a balanced, elegant contrast. Apart from a minor blemish at the edge between 5 and 6 o'clock, it's clean and flawless.
Case design is a class above the more common 56GS models with balanced aesthetic. The interplay of brushed and polished casework, plus the textured "sand" dial and slim hands, creates a refined yet sporty appearance.
There are some small nicks and fine scratches, normal for its age, but overall appearance is beautiful.
Caseback is in great condition with gold medallion intact.
New mineral crystal.
Movement is also in excellent condition. Just serviced and running with very strong amitude and very good accuracy. Plastic star for calendar quick set, the weak point of this caliber, has been replaced with metal one.
