1972 Seiko GS Special 6156-8001

Serviced 1972 Seiko GS Special Hi-Beat automatic in beautiful condition.

This one was bit of an oddity as it never appeared in a Seiko catalogue and it seems to be on a rarer side as not many seem to be on the market.
Unlike 6146, 6156 came with hardlex crystal rather than plastic and it was adjusted for higher accuracy (only VFA was more accurate). That's why it's Special.

There are some fine scratches and few very small knicks here and there but overall case is in very good condition. Sharp and edgy.
There are few very tiny specks on the dial visible with magnification.
To the naked eye it's clean and beautiful.
