Serviced, rare 1971 Idemitsu Seiko KS Superior Chronometar Officially Certified Hi-Beat manual winding watch. 45-8020 was a limited edition issued as a special commemorative piece rather than a standard retail model to mark 60 year anniversary of Idemitsu, major Japanese petroleum company.
What makes these models stand out is engraving on the caseback denoting “出光創業六十周年記念” (“Idemitsu Founding 60th Anniversary Commemorative”) only, without typical engraving found on other KS models.
Caliber 45 ticking at 10 beats per second, is considered by many to be Seiko's finest hand winding movement.

Case is curvy and edgy at the same time and it is in very good condition with some minor scratches.
Dial is original, clean and beautiful with little bit of blackness on the edge between 11 and 2 o'clock.
Movement is clean, healthy and runs very well.
It takes about 60 turns to fully wound the mainspring and power reserve is about 43 hours.
