A rare gem from Seiko’s golden era – this 1970 Seiko LM (Lord Matic) features a beautifully modded dial inspired by Kitagawa Utamaro’s classic ukiyo-e artwork, Girl Blowing Vidro. These unique dials appeared on various Seiko KS, LM and Actus models in the late '60s and '70s, but their origins remain a mystery, adding to their allure and collectibility.
Freshly serviced – movement runs smoothly and keeps great time.
The plastic quickset star has been upgraded to a durable metal one, a common weak point in this movement.
Stainless steel case in solid vintage condition – minor nicks here and there, but nothing distracting.
Fitted with a genuine Seiko NOS acrylic crystal, giving a clean, clear view of the beautiful dial.
Comes on the original stainless steel bracelet, fits up to a 18.5cm wrist.
Day display in English only.
A true conversation starter and a rare find for any Seiko or Japanese art lover. Don’t miss the chance to own this vintage beauty.
