1970 Seiko GS Special Hi-Beat 36000 6156-8010

 1970 Seiko GS Special Hi-Beat 36000 BPH automatic with hand winding.
Rarely seen flawless black dial version.
This was the premium model that, unlike the regular 6156, has HSS (hardened stainless steel) case.

Overall condition of the case is excellent . It would have been mint if previous "watchmaker" didn't try to remove the bezel that doesn't come off. You can see a little dent where the case meets the bezel at around 8 o'clock. It is only on the case, bezel is intact, and it's much more noticeable in pictures than in person with naked eye.

This model originally came with three sided faceted sapphire crystal. It's been replaced with regular GS crystal.

*** It may be possible to put back original crystal. It is, however, quite expensive.
If you would like to have it changed to original sapphire it would be additional 20,000 JPY. ***

The watch comes on a premium Seiko crocodile leather strap with price tag of 12,100 JPY in premium  quality , Japan made watch box.

Movement has been serviced, it's in excellent condition and everything runs well.
