1969 Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver 6119-8300

 Serviced, iconic, ultra cool 1969 Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver 21 jewels automatic watch in great condition. 

In 1968, Seiko 5 Sports was created as a more upscale brand, targeting young people with  active lifestyles and was marketed as a sports watch with robust features.

This watch is all original except for NOS hardlex crystal. 

It features caliber 6119( base caliber for 61GS). Movement is in excellent condition and runs accurately.

Case is bold and edgy with few small scratches here and there. 

Bezel is in good condition, little scratched up on the edge at 12 o'clock. Checkered insert has few scratches, but still looks great. It's bidirectional and it turns nicely with just enough resistance. 

Dial and hands are in beautiful condition with patinated lume on the dial. Hands are freshly lumed. 

Original stainless steel bracelet will fit up to 18cm wrist. It's in good condition. Folded part on one side of the clasp is broken, but nothing to worry as the clasp locks firmly in place. 

All the gaskets have been replaced. Around the crystal, on the crown and on the caseback. 

As it's fully automatic, it needs to be shaken for a few minutes before wearing it. To quickly change date push the crown. For weekdays, advance the time past midnight until the day changes and then go back to 9 pm and repeat until the correct day is displayed.
