1969 Seiko 5 Sports Rally Diver 6119-7170

 Serviced, iconic, ultra cool 1969 Seiko 5 Sports Silver Rally Diver 21 jewels automatic watch in great condition. 

In 1968, Seiko 5 Sports was created as a more upscale brand, targeting young people with  active lifestyles and was marketed as a sports watch with robust features.

It features caliber 6119( base caliber for 61GS). Movement is in excellent condition and runs accurately.

Case is bold and edgy with few small scratches here and there. 

Bezel is in great condition. Checkered insert has few scratches, but still looks great. It's bidirectional and it turns nicely with just enough resistance. 

Dial and hands are in beautiful condition with original lume. 

New hardlex crystal. 

Aftermarket, solid link stainless steel bracelet, resembling the original. 

All the gaskets have been replaced. Around the crystal, on the crown and on the caseback. 

As it's fully automatic, it needs to be shaken for a few minutes before wearing it. To quickly change date push the crown. For weekdays, advance the time past midnight until the day changes and then go back to 9 pm and repeat until the correct day is displayed.
