1968 Seiko 5 Sports 6119-8130

 Serviced, 1968 Seiko 5 Sports automatics watch in good condition. 

This is the first generation and one of the first Seiko 5 Sports models. 

Seiko launched 5 Sports in 1968.

Black dial with original lume on hour markers is in very good condition. 

Hour and minute hands are new. Red lollipop seconds hand is original. 

New Yoshida made for Seiko mineral crystal. It's 3.5mm thick and it really makes the watch pop. 

Case is not as sharp as it used to be, but it's in good condition. Circularly brushed front and polished sides. 

Caseback is in good condition. 

Bracelet is aftermarket, 316L, solid link stainless steel. Inspired by original Seiko 5 Sports from 60's. It's of much better quality than the original flimsy ones. 

Movement is in good condition. Serviced in Feb of 2022. It runs strong with good accuracy. 

Weekdays are in English only. 

Quick set for date works by pushing the crown. For weekdays, you need to advance to 2am and then go back to 10pm. Repeat until the correct day is displayed.
