Serviced, 1968 Seiko 5 Sports automatic watch with a rare, original stainless steel bracelet.
This timepiece is a first-generation Seiko 5 Sports model, one of the earliest released when the Seiko 5 Sports line debuted in 1968.
The silver/grey dial is in flawless condition, retaining its original state, as are the hands.
Fitted with a new Yoshida-made for Seiko mineral crystal, measuring 3.5mm thick, which enhances the watch's visual appeal and clarity.
The case remains sharp and in excellent overall condition, with a few nicks on the bottom right side.
The original stainless steel bracelet is highly sought after and adds significant value. It comfortably fits wrists up to 19cm.
The caseback is in very good condition, showing minimal wear.
Powered by the caliber 6119, the same base caliber used in the 61GS series, the watch has just been serviced. It's clean, healthy and runs strong with good accuracy.
The weekday display is in English only.
- Quick-set date function: Operates by pushing the crown.
- Weekday adjustment: Advance to about 2am or until the day fully changes, then return to 10pm, repeating until the correct day is displayed.
