1968 Seiko 5 Sports 6119-8120

 Overhauled, iconic, ultra cool 1968 Seiko 5 Sports "diver" 21 jewels automatic watch in good condition. 

Less common varient with navy dial and blue bezel. 

In 1968, Seiko 5 Sports was created as a more upscale model, targeting young people with more active lifestyles and was marketed as a sports watch with robust features. This model along with 6106-8120 was the first. 

It features caliber 6119( base caliber for 61GS). Movement is in excellent condition and runs accurately.

Case is untouched, sharp and edgy. There is small dent on the side below the crown. Other than that it's in very good condition with minor scratches associated with its age. 

Bezel is in good condition and it rotates bidirectionaly with ease.

Both, dial and hands are original and in beautiful condition. 

Stainless steel bracelet is aftermarket with solid links. It is of much better quality than the original. Clasp replaced with genuine, vintage Seiko one. 

New aftermarket sapphire crystal and new gaskets on the caseback and crown.
