1965 Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe 7619-7010

 Serviced, stunning, rare black dial 1965 JDM Seiko Sportsmatic Deluxe diashock 25 jewels automatic watch in beautiful condition. 

This one is one of my favorites and arguably, with the coolest mid 60's Seiko dial. 

New old stick genuine Seiko acrylic crystal. 
New Seiko black cowhide leather strap. 

Completely disassembled and thoroughly cleaned. 

Case is in pretty good condition, edgy with sharp lines. There are some very small nicks here and there, but none too noticeable. There is some pitting under the caseback on the outer edge. Normal for the 60 year old watch that has spent a lot of time on the wrist. Thick rubber gasket will provide sufficient moisture resistance for daily wear. 

Caliber 7619 has been properly serviced and it runs strong with good accuracy. 

This was JDM only model and weekdays are in Kanji only, no English. 

Date quick set is done with a push of the button above the crown. It requires deep push, so pen or a chopstick may be needed to push fully. 

Weekdays don't have a quick set.
