1965 Seiko Seikomatic Weekdater 6206-8980

 Absolute stunner, serviced 1965 Seikomatic Weekdater 26 jewels gold plated automatic watch with kanji weekdays in probably unused condition. 

Weekdaters with full kanji days are quite rare and difficult to find even in Japan. 

All original including exotic reptile leather strap. 

The watch is in fantastic condition in and out with only flaws being few scratches on the caseback and little bit of chipping around it. It seems that the watch was never opened before and with hardened rubber gasket, it was extremely difficult to unscrew the caseback. 

Opening the watch revealed beautiful, pristine, never serviced before caliber 6206. After complete disassembly, cleaning and lubrication, it is running like new.
