Reserved! Do not buy! 1965 Citizen Auto Dater Jet ADSG 51302-Y

 Strikingly beautiful, very rare 1965 Citizen Auto Dater with 25 jewels Jet automatic movement in amazing condition. 

NOS Genuine Citizen crystal and new premium quality leather strap by Bambi. Everything else is original. 

The watch is pretty hefty at 38mm across without the very large CTZ signed crown. It has a strong presence on the wrist and is guaranteed to get noticed anytime, anywhere. 

Citizen original Jet automatic movement was produced for only a few years and it has a distinct sound that rotor makes when winding. 

It has manual winding as well and date quick set with a full pull of the crown. 

Weekdays are in Kanji only. Days change over 6 hours before date does. I set up the date changeover at midnight, so day changes around 6 pm. I don't know if that's the way that Citizen had it originally. You can also "quickly" advance the data by going back and forth between 4pm and 8pm. 

The watch was completely disassembled and cleaned. Movement lubricated and regulated. It runs stong with a good accuracy for a 60 year old vintage.
