1964 Seiko Sportsmatic SilverWave 697990

 Serviced, Rare 1964 Seiko Sportsmatic SilverWave, pre-diver automatic watch in great condition with even rarer, original bracelet. 

Dial has developed very interesting, eye pleasing patina. Indeces are shiny and original lume dots are still on, although not very bright. Original lume on hands is still relatively strong considering its age. 

Case is not polished and there are some small scratches, but overall condition is pretty good. 

NOS Genuine Seiko crystal. 

I have just replaced the crown with NOS Genuine Seiko one. Original, old crown will also be included. 

Inner bezel turns with the crown in pushed in position. 

Rarely seen, original stainless steel bracelet has dents on few of the links, as you can see in the pictures, but it's in very good condition for 60 year old, cheap Seiko bracelet. Links are tight, not flimsy like many old Seiko ones are, clasp closes firmly and it sits nicely between the lugs. Good for up to 19cm wrist. 

Caliber 2451 is in good condition. Clean, healthy and runs strong with good accuracy for a vintage.
