These models, such as the one featuring the 3.5mm thin movement, were high-end timepieces that briefly held the title of the world's thinnest wristwatches before being surpassed by Seiko. The brand's factory was heavily damaged by a 1959 typhoon, leading to its eventual insolvency, making original examples like the Chateau Superior rare collector's items.
