Before the first Grand Seiko, there was Crown. Caliber 560 was the base for the first Grand.
Other than bit of discoloration on the edge of the dial between 9 and 12 o'clock, the watch is in excellent condition.
Case sharp, with no noticeable nicks.
Dial has nice, fine grainy texture with applied indeces. Dauphin hands are beautiful and shiny.
NOS Seiko plastic crystal.
Caseback is in excellent condition. There is a personal engraving in Kanji. It was a gift for 25 years of service at Kinki railway. Year was showa 37, which is 1962.
Movement is clean, healthy and shiny.
Watch runs well with strong amplitude and good accuracy.
