1962 Seiko Cronos J13046

 Serviced 1962 Seiko Cronos Pre-Diver water 50 proof diashock 21 jewels hand winding watch. 

Very nice example of the technology that Seiko was hunting for in the late 50’s. The watch housing a triple locking caseback and double screwed down balance bridge. All to be able to withstand the high pressure a watch needed to withstand in rough conditions.

This is also the watch that 1st King Seiko was based on. 

 Rare black dial is not perfect, but in pretty good condition. 

Case has some scratches and few nicks, but overall it is in good condition for its age. 

Caseback is has some deeper scratches from the opening tool. 

NOS Genuine Seiko crystal. 

New, black , Horween  leather strap. 

Movement is clean and runs well with good accuracy.
