1959 Seiko Gyro Marvel ,First Seiko original automatic

 Serviced, beautiful 1959 Seiko Gyro Marvel automatic with manual winding watch in nice condition. 

Gyro Marvel with caliber 290 was the very first Seiko original automatic watch with production starting in 1956. 

This was a pretty price watch back in 1960. It cost 6,400 yen when starting salary was little over 10,000 yen. 

Dial is clean and beautiful despite all the blemishes with applied gold indeces and number 12. Hands are thin nicely curbed and elegant. 

Case is in very good condition considering its age and not being waterproof.

New Seiko cowhide leather strap, tan color that nicely compliments dial tone.
