1958 Seiko Marvel 14045

 Serviced, Rare 1958 Seiko Marvel 19 jewels manual winding watch in beautiful condition. 

This was the high end model in 1958, featuring 19 jewels, first Seiko all original movement  inside 14K Gold Filled case. 

Clean and elegant dial is marked with SD (special dial), meaning that indeces and hands are made of solid gold. 

Completely disassembled, cleaned, lubricated and regulated. Movement is beautiful as well as being in excellent condition. It runs with very strong amplitude and excellent accuracy considering its age. 

Upper lugs had some repairs done. Left one was little bent and had to be straightened, while the right one had spring bar hole broken open. Repair was done by filling the hole with a cold welding paste and drilling the hole. 

On a new Seiko leather strap. 

New crystal also.
