Rare 1955 Seiko Super, 15 jewels antimagnetic, manual winding watch.
Super was released in 1950. It was the first Seiko watch with center second.
The dial has a classic vintage aesthetic, with a clean yet aged look.
The hour markers are combination of numerals and indices, showing a patina that suggests natural aging.
The hands are traditional dauphine or leaf style, which was common in Seiko’s designs of that era.
The case is made of stainless steel. The lugs are proportionate and curve slightly, which was typical for mid-century dress watches. The condition is very good for its age.
The crown appears to be original or at least period-correct, complementing the overall design.
Movement was serviced over a year ago. It's clean and runs well for its age.
New Seiko cowhide leather strap.
