1959 Seiko Marvel J14045

 Serviced, Very Rare 1959 Seikomatic Marvel 17 jewels manual winding watch in beautiful condition. 

Marvel was the beginning of modern Seiko watchmaking. It had the first, completely original Seiko movement design that eventually led to the creation of the First Grand Seiko. 

Marvel line had some amazingly well crafted dials and this one is really special. There is a good deal of patina on it but it's beauty still shines through. 

Stainless steel case is in excellent condition with some minor scratches, mostly visible on lugs. 

Movement is clean, healthy and runs with very good accuracy for 64 year old watch.
